We are experts in production, sales and processing of raw materials

In 2023, Halimatou founded Halya Commodity, a company dedicated to the production, sales, and processing of raw materials such as coffee, cocoa, and cashew nuts. Halya Commodity works directly with local producers to ensure high-quality production and implements sustainable agricultural practices. The company specializes in selling raw materials in local and international markets and also intends to invest in their transformation into value-added products. Despite its recent establishment, Halya Commodity has quickly gained a reputation for its commitment to quality and ethics. Halimatou plans to expand Halya Commodity's operations by exploring new raw materials and develop the company's processing of raw material. Her vision and commitment continue to transform lives and promote sustainable and inclusive economic growth.

Mrs Halimatou Toudjani Alifa is an experienced banker, originally from the Northern region of Cameroon. She holds a degree from the Institute of Banking Techniques in Paris, France, and has also obtained certifications in e-commerce and commodity trading. With over 20 years of experience in the banking and finance sector, she has held key positions in various multinational financial institutions.

Specializing in risk management, corporate finance, and strategic development, Halimatou has leveraged her skills and expertise into multiple entrepreneurial opportunities. since 2014 she has created 2 companies which have established themselves in the sectors of agriculture, livestock and commerce.

Under Halimatou's leadership, Halya Commodity adheres to values of sustainability, fair trade, and social responsibility. The company is committed to paying fair prices to producers and investing in community development projects, such as local infrastructure construction and improving farmers' living conditions.

Cocoa & Coffee

The cocoa that we produce, that we transform or that we offer is cocoa produced with all the know-how of our experts in the field. Here are some rules we follow: Harvesting the pods when just ripe: three-quarters yellow or orange-red; Carry out several passes at regular intervals of ten to fifteen days, taking care to only pick ripe pods;Choose the appropriate tool to carry out the harvest; Harvest by cutting in the middle of the peduncle, without injuring the pod, the floral pad and the dormant bud; etc.
When it comes to coffee production and processing, certain rules are also respected to ensure you get a better quality product.

Arabic Gum & Soy

Arabic Gum is the gum that exuded from certain trees, such as the ACACIA Senegal tree. It's a source of dietary fiber that can dissolve in water. Arabic Gum is used in the food industry as a stabiliser, emulsifying agent, and thickenning agent in icing, fillings, soft candy, chewing gum, and other confectionery, and to bind the sweeteners and flavourings in soft drinks.
Arabic Gum exhibited anti-inflammatory, prebiotic, and antibacterial properties. Arabic Gum has been successfully used to treat sickle cell anemia, rheumatoid arthritis, metabolic disorders, periodontitis, gastrointestinal conditions, and kidney diseases.

Cashew nut & Cotton

The traditional cashew tree is tall (up to 14 m) and take three years from planting before it starts production, and eight years before economic harvests can begin.
Generally the processing of raw cashew nuts into edible cashew kernel takes the following steps traditional method: roasting, shelling drying, peeling, grading, quality controls, fumigation and packaging.
Cotton is a natural plant fiber wich grows around the seed of the cotton plant. Fibers are used in the textile industry, where they are the starting point of the production chain. First, the cotton fiber is obtained from the cotton plant and the spun into yarn.

Sesame & Others

Sesame seed, a rich source of protein, is one of the first crops processed for oil production. Its non-culinary application includes its use as an ingredient in soap, cosmetics, lubricants and medicines.
Sesame contains chemicals that might help reduce swelling, increase wound healing, and slow how fast sugar is absorbed from food. Sesame seeds are also rich sources of vitamins and antioxidants. People use sesame oil for high blood pressure.
The production of white and cream-white varieties has a high grow rate due to their traditional use in Asia and the growth of the population in these countries, as well asincreasigngly important use in Europe, in North America and elsewhere in the world in pastry (sesame cookies) and bakery (hamburger buns, sesame bagels).
